Hauled and Packed!

LUCIE is on its way to Sweden!

We hauled LUCIE on Friday morning at the Hinckley Yard and took the rig apart during Friday and Saturday, both the mast and the boom were packed into the protective and padded custom made bags. The last changes to the trailer were done during the weekend, LUCIE now rests on a forward cradle and her ballast is supported by an additional forward support channel. We put the new hull cover on this morning, the mast cradles and finally the whole rig went onto the deck. Dock boxes are packed with everything that LUCIE will need during her summer journey. The splash guards were put onto the trailer, everything was strapped down and LUCIE was picked up by Casey’s Boathauling.

LUCIE will be at the dock in NJ on Wednesday morning before 9 am and we expect her in Gothenborg, Sweden on July 4.
