LUCIE went out for two separate tuning sails today, light winds, some drizzle in the morning but clearing skies in the afternoon. These weather conditions gave us a good opportunity to test various sail combinations under light wind conditions, pretty much what we expect to see over the next few days – plus another heat wave rolling in.
Everything went really well on board, team LUCIE feels well prepared for tomorrows first start to the Robbe & Berking Sterling Cup.
The evening was gorgeous, the sun setting over the Flensburg Fjord and a very nice welcome event at the Flensburger Segel Club – a great opportunity to catch up with some of the other 6 Metre crews – many of us had not seen each other since last years event in Nynashamn, Sweden.
A lot of excitement going around here as everybody is now eager to go out and race – tomorrow!
